Description
Established in the late 1930s, this groundbreaking hotel, motel and gaming union (formerly known as the NY Hotel & Motel Trades Council) promotes human rights, social justice and progress among owners and workers in New York City. Its first industry-wide contract was signed on January 18, 1939, and banned employment discrimination. Today, it’s one of the strongest unions in NYC.
